BDO - no, I didn't go.

so another year went by, and another big day out hit Auckland, and again I didn't go. and you know why I didn't go? and why i'll not go next year? nor the year after...?

...well i'll tell you!

because the general opinion (although the masses defend it) is that it sucks (simply). "but wait" I hear you all say. "you didn't even go!" and "it was really good!" and blah blah blah...

all i've heard from attendees to this point - bar discussing this blog entry with some - is complaints. "oh man, I can't believe how many fat goths with mohawks wearing 'mudvayne' t-shirts got in my way!" and "I couldn't see a thing!" and "it took us 30mins to get anywhere!"

and now people choose to defend their decisions, and try to convince me how good it was and why I should go and "it'll be fun".

whatever.

perhaps all this teaches us is "you gotta accentuate the positive" if you wanna convince me?
